These terms apply to every order placed on R3TA.pro. Please read them before you buy. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept them, together with our Research use policy, Shipping policy, Refund and returns policy and Privacy policy.

1. Who we are

R3TA.pro is operated by the company named at the foot of every page of this website (“R3TA”, “we”, “us”). You can contact us at the support email address shown there.

2. Who can buy

You may buy from R3TA.pro only if:

  • you are 18 years of age or older;
  • you buy the products for laboratory research use only, as described in our Research use policy;
  • it is lawful for you to buy, import and hold the products in the country of delivery.

At checkout you confirm each of these points. We record your declarations with your order. We may refuse or cancel any order if we have reason to believe that a declaration is not true.

3. The products

R3TA products are research chemicals supplied as lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in sealed vials. They are not medicines, food, food supplements, cosmetics or veterinary products. They are not approved by any medicines regulator for use in humans or animals, and we make no claim that they are safe or effective for any such use.

Product descriptions, specifications and lab reports describe the material as tested. Images are illustrations; labels and packaging may differ slightly.

4. Orders and contract

Your order is an offer to buy. After you place it you receive an order confirmation by email. The contract is formed when we accept your order, which happens when we confirm your payment. We may decline an order — for example if a product is out of stock, a price was shown in error, or a declaration in section 2 is not met. If we decline after you have paid, we refund you in full.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include any VAT we are required to charge. Shipping costs are shown before you pay. Import VAT, duties or customs fees charged by the country of delivery, if any, are your responsibility.

We accept payment through PayPal, including debit and credit cards processed by PayPal. We do not see or store your full card details. Payment is taken when you complete checkout. We ship only after the payment is confirmed.

6. Delivery

Delivery terms, times and costs are set out in our Shipping policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us.

7. Cancellation and returns

Your right to cancel and our returns process are set out in our Refund and returns policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • use the products only for lawful laboratory research, by or under the supervision of suitably qualified people;
  • store and handle them according to the information we provide and good laboratory practice;
  • not resell the products for human or animal use, or describe them to anyone as suitable for such use;
  • comply with all laws that apply to you, including import rules in your country.

9. Liability

We are responsible for supplying products that match their description and our published specifications. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the products contrary to these terms or the Research use policy, including any use in humans or animals.

Our total liability to you for any order is limited to the price you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there. Please contact us first — most problems are resolved quickly by email.
